Austin Dunn

Hey! My name is Austin Taylor Dunn and I was born in the city of Dallas, but moved to Austin, Texas when I was 13. This was where I found my love for singing, dancing, and acting. I find my strongest sense of art in times when I get to dedicate myself to a story that I think is worth telling, one that contains authenticity, insightfulness, and strength. 

I received my B.F.A. in Musical Theater and Minor in Dance from Point Park University where I danced in productions like Newsies and the Winter Dance Concert or sung in productions like Sondheim on Sondheim and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella! 

Some of my other recent credits include Carousel (Lyric Theater of Oklahoma), Matilda: The Musical (ZACH Theater), Curtains (Pittsburgh Playhouse), and The Music Man (Summer Stock Austin).

When I am not performing you can find me at the gym, reading a good book, watching an indie film, drinking coffee, or trying to answer the age old question: are cowboy boots appropriate to the event I am going to?
